On October 13-14, 2017 Princeton University will host the eighth annual conference:
New Directions in Analyzing Text as Data (Text As Data 2017)
This conference brings together researchers from the social sciences, computer science and linguistics to investigate new approaches to using textual data in social science research. Previous conferences took place at Northeastern University, Harvard, Northwestern University, the London School of Economics, and New York University.
The organizing committee for Text as Data 2017 consists of Will Lowe, John Londregan, Marc Ratkovic, and Brandon Stewart. We are grateful to the Department of Politics, the Quantitive and Analytical Politics Program, and the Department of Sociology for funding.
Text as Data 2017 is done, but we hope to see you next year in Seattle!
